A Little Star arose, 200 years ago, in the dark firmament of the World of the Visually Challenged.
It is the irony of it that the awl with which Louis pked his eyes turned into the little Stylus that opened Education for all visually challenged persons the world over.
The Curse of Babel was partially annulled by the Braille Script which transcended national and linguistic boundaries to provide one Script for all Languages.
Today, inspite of much technical and scientific developments Braille, still, rules over all non-seeing children, not only for their Education but also for their personal communications, diaries, letters, accounts and other personal records.
We salute Louis Braille for his great contribution and we take an oath to walk his way towards betterment and perfection!
